Together, We Make a Difference
Stand With Afghan Girls and Women
Since 2021, Afghan girls above grade six have been banned from school, and women from universities. Over 2.2 million girls are out of school, and women are barred from universities. This crisis has severely impacted mental health, with rising rates of depression and suicide.
At AESS, we refuse to let these numbers define their future.
We believe education is not a privilege—it’s a lifeline. Your involvement can help us build online learning platforms, create mental health support programs, offer literacy and language classes, and foster safe, inclusive communities both in Afghanistan and across the diaspora.
Together we can:
- Provide access to free digital education in native languages
- Train and support women educators and mentors
- Deliver mental well-being resources to those suffering in silence
- Assist newcomers in Canada as they build new lives
- Advocate globally for gender equality and human rights
